About Me

Determined Full-Stack Web Developer, experienced in JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, Angular framework, NodeJS, Express and databases like MongoDB, MySQL, Firebase. Passionate about developing responsive web applications, and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and continuously improving development skills.

Approximately 3 and a half years ago I started my journey in the world of web development with a WordPress website and quickly transformed in a passion. After some short time I realized that I wanted to learn more about web development, but I didn't have much time to do this because of my previous job. Finally, at the end of 2021 I've decided to quit my job and start a new journey in the world of web development. I bought a full-stack web development course and started to learn from scratch. I am currently still learning and working as a freelancer but I am responsive to opportunities.

WordPress developer

From Jan 2020 to present

Developed and maintained a WordPress website for affiliate marketing, based on SEO and content marketing.

On this website I also used to create and publish content on a regular basis, making my research and using my knowledge to create content that is useful for the readers and also for the SEO.

The website ranked on google search results for multiple keywords and it is still gaining daily traffic from search engines.

Shift Manager

This is a project given to me by the company where I follow my full-stack web development learning path. I had to create a shift manager application, where users can create accounts, add, delete and update their shifts. Also, they can see their earnings, and the best earning month in the year.

I have multiple versions of this project, one using Angular for the frontend and I also built a small backend using NodeJS and Express. Give them a try an my portfolio website.

Currently the website is down. I am going to start working on it again soon. Approximately 3 years ago I started this personal project, and also my passion for web development formed. I didn't have any experience in web development before, and I spent countless nights learning the WordPress CMS, and especially SEO, all by myself.

Advice App

This is a project given to me as a challenge by the company, where I follow my full-stack web development learning path. I had to recreate the design to be as close as possible to the original template and to work with the given API. The API is a random advice generator, and the design is a simple one-page website.

I plan to recreate this project using the latest technologies in web development, and I will code it from scratch with a different design. I was planning to use Angular and TypeScript, but Angular it is not very SEO friendly, so I've decided to stick with JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5.

Shift Manager

In the future I plan to develop it with a backend service because I believe it can be expanded with many more features, to become a full-fledged shift manager app. So, I plan to create a backend system, maybe with NodeJS and ExpressJS and I will use a database like MongoDB to store the data.
